Solution Engineer – Integration & Web

Sandvik Group IT is looking for a Solution Engineer to take ownership of our integration and web development landscape, driving forward-thinking solutions that power our digital ecosystem.

About your job

In this role, you architect and implement web applications with a focus on performance, accessibility and maintainability. You lead the design and development of scalable integration solutions across internal systems and external platforms – for example APIs, middleware and event-driven architectures. To align technical solutions with business goals, you collaborate with our enterprise architect, solution architects, products owners and developers.

You mentor and guide a team of solution engineers and managed services – fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Enhancing our integration and web capabilities, you assist in evaluating and introducing new technologies and frameworks. You ensure security, compliance and performance across all integration and web solutions.

The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm and we offer you a hybrid work solution.

About you

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in web technologies and integration platforms, combined with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. To be successful in this role, we believe that you have? experience with CI/CD pipelines, agile backlog tools, agile methodologies, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native development. It’s beneficial if you also have knowledge with Power platform and architecture frameworks. As we’re a global organization, you need excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset and can easily work independently with limited supervision. You’re creative and thrive in an ever-changing environment and can switch mindset and tasks in moment’s notice. Being a true team player, you happily support and coach colleagues and challenge when necessary. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships based on honesty and trust all over our global organization. Combine this with a passion for clean code, automation and scalable architecture and you’re the perfect fit for this role!
