HR Manager

  • Close partnership with the site manager in delivering the results
  • Serve as a member of the Seremban site management team
  • Establish and maintain local HR policies and ways of working across all stages of the employee lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Manage a wide range of daily employment matters throughout the employee lifecycle in close collaboration with HR Services Singapore.
  • Support and coach managers and teams to help achieve organizational goals and production targets.
  • Ensure the organization evolves in the right direction to enable sustainable growth.
  • Actively contribute to the development and reinforcement of company culture.
  • Oversee supplier selection and management for services under the HR function’s responsibility.
  • Provide support for annual and quarterly HR processes, such as Peakon surveys and the merit review process.
  • Respond to ad hoc HR inquiries and provide timely, practical solutions.
  • Offer guidance and solutions to a variety of personnel-related questions arising from business operations.
  • Support managers in recruitment activities, in collaboration with the HR Services Centre.
  • Presents HR in Load & Haul global HR network


Qualifications & Education

  • + 5 years’ experience in HR operations, preferably in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices, preferably in a global company.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills in local language and in English, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable navigating, ambiguity and progressing in situations without predefined solutions adapting to sudden changes.
  • A people-oriented professional with strong business acumen and the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Influential and persuasive, capable of guiding and motivating employees.
  • Proactive, with a “make it happen” mindset and a strong can-do attitude.
  • Solid understanding of Malaysian labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Workday (HRIS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
