About the job

You’re responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge learning and development strategies and initiatives that empower our employees and strengthen our business. Acting as a strategic partner, you ensure our workforce is equipped to excel in a competitive and rapidly changing landscape. You build a learning environment that empowers employees to own their development and facilitate engaging business-related training and workshops.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging diverse learning methodologies, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, workshops, simulations, and on-the-job training.
  • Overseeing the full lifecycle of L&D projects – from scoping and planning to execution and evaluation.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and fostering collaboration to ensure successful adoption of programs.
  • Measuring and continuously improving the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

You report to the Head of Employee Experience at Mining and as an individual contributor work closely with our global HR community. The position is based in Stockholm with a hybrid work setup and some international travel.

Your profile

You have a bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, organizational development, or a related field. You bring proven experience in global learning and development roles, with a focus on global initiatives, and are familiar with established L&D frameworks. You have experience in learning methodologies such as 5Di, Five Moments of Need, Brinkerhoff’s High-Performance Learning Journeys, and Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model. An understanding of the manufacturing or mining industries is a plus, as is experience with talent development programs, including HiPo initiatives. Fluency in English – both written and spoken – is a must.


You’re an excellent communicator and influencer with strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment and have a collaborative mindset. Curiosity, adaptability, and an innovative approach to problem-solving are key traits that help you succeed in this role.
