About your job

In this role, you’re the first point of contact for HR-related “Speak Up” cases (our whistleblower concept) across our global mining operations. You manage the full lifecycle of investigations – from intake to resolution – ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with our Code of Conduct. You collaborate closely with HR, Legal and Compliance teams to drive improvements and support a safe, respectful workplace.

You evaluate trends, prepare detailed reports and recommend actions that make a real difference. You also help build skills by facilitating training and sharing insights that strengthen our integrity program. Included in your responsibilities:

  • Lead investigations into HR-related “Speak Up” cases and Code of Conduct concerns.
  • Manage case documentation, timelines and outcomes in line with company policy.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and propose proactive improvements.
  • Support local HR teams in resolving complex employee relations matters.
  • Ensure and prepare detailed investigative reports, including case summaries and findings, and make recommendations for proper action and resolution.


You report to the Head of Employee Experience at Mining, and act in close collaboration with the Mining sales areas and divisions and our global HR community. The location for this position is flexible between our sites and offices globally. Since we’re a global business, travel is a natural part of your role, as well as efficient digital collaboration across time zones.

About you

You bring a university degree in HR, law or related field, along with several years’ experience in employee relations and investigative work. You have knowledge of investigative interviewing techniques and experience in assessing and negotiating complex, while maintaining confidentiality, remaining impartial and working under tight deadlines. Data management and analytic skills are essential, as well as case management skills. You understand Sandvik as a business and if you’re used to working in a matrix organization, it’s considered a plus.

You’re confident in navigating complex, sensitive situations and are a natural and talented communicator who easily builds trusting relationships with people all over our organization. Your analytical skills combined with your empathetic and proactive mindset are perfect assets in this role. With curiosity and integrity, you make sure to solve cases and follow through with outcomes that are fair, respectful and aligned with our values.
