YOUR MISSION
As Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for managing component data requirements for our Products and Trade. In this role, you will Optimise CAD Models, Evaluate Tariff (HS), Export Control (ECCN) Classification, Global warming potential (Co2 footprint) for the components from various divisions. To be successful in this role, Sound knowledge of Mechanical components, Selection criteria, Significance of its characteristics and parameters is needed. The ideal person for this position requires solid analytical skills alongside the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to other employees.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate should have hands on experience in Mechanical systems/Hydraulic systems component selection and be able to classify components and subsystems according to their specifications/application. Responsible for Modelling/detailing of components and assemblies in UG/NX Responsible for various types of components, subsystem data quality in Teamcenter and allied systems. Responsible for Quality of data in Team center Tariff Coding, Export control coding, GWP classifications and Library Management. Document work for process improvements.
YOUR PROFILE
Education & Experience:
University degree in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer. You have the needed relevant experience as per the following
Should understand the International standards for Mechanical components. Should have exposure to NX / Teamcenter integrated environment. Fair understanding on working principle for various Mechanical components like Engine, Transmission components, Compressor, Basic mechanical elements etc. This position requires an experienced person who has around 3~4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of mobile machinery, Hydraulic Components, HS Tariff coding and Export control coding is seen as a benefit. Needs to understand the functionalities between the Mechanical components / systems. Knowledge of Engineering change process is seen as a benefit.
