About the Role

As an Equipment Sales Engineer, you will drive sales of Sandvik’s crushing and screening equipment through both direct and distributor channels. You will identify customer needs, recommend optimized solutions, and communicate the value of Sandvik’s products and services to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sales growth.

Key Performance Areas

  • Drive equipment sales growth within the mining and construction industries through strategic account development.

  • Coach, train, and develop Account Managers and Distributors to achieve sales targets and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct on-site plant audits to assess equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.

  • Provide technical expertise on crushing and screening applications, including equipment selection and process optimization.

  • Develop and execute annual strategic sales plans to expand market share and increase revenue.

  • Evaluate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure seamless integration of new equipment.

  • Analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.

  • Promote Sandvik’s safety culture, ensuring all activities align with regulatory and company standards.

  • Deliver reports on sales performance, market dynamics, and team development to senior leadership.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

  • 5–8 years of sales or engineering experience within mining, aggregates, or construction equipment.

  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles and technical solution selling.

  • Strong knowledge of crushing, screening, and material handling systems.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Technical aptitude in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Team leadership and distributor development experience.
