Your Mission

As an Application Specialist Turnkey Project, you will be the technical expert responsible for ensuring our customers receive the full value of Sandvik Coromant’ s Total Solutions Offer. You’ll work closely with customers to implement innovative tooling solutions, support sales activities, and drive business growth in line with our global strategy and local business plans.

Location of the successful candidate is within Istanbul, Turkiye.

Key Responsibilities

Fulfilling and delivering expertise in relevant technical products and application solutions to customers, including turnkey project capabilities, and supporting Account Managers to maximize and extend business opportunities within specific scopes of competencies.
Holding responsibility for ensuring Sandvik Coromant products are correctly implemented and deployed to ensure they are as well secured to minimize competitor conversion and customers gain the maximum impact of utilizing Sandvik Coromant tools and technology.
Supporting Account Managers in technical presentations and customer interactions to ensure suitable business opportunities are identified and secured for Sandvik Coromant, whether analogue or digital.
Support customers with CAD/CAM programs, time studies, and proof-of-concept trials for complex workpieces.
Design and execute customer-specific applications, testing, and integrated offers.
Document performance and savings of applied solutions through PA reports to support product development and competitiveness.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure solutions are configured and installed to meet customer needs (e.g., Virtual Gibbs, MasterCam).
Monitor competitor technologies and share actionable insights with sales and R&D.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or relevant degrees
With 5–7 years of proven expertise in cutting tools and machining applications, you possess deep knowledge of manufacturing processes in metal cutting and their optimization.
Having experience in managing complex technical projects end-to-end and skilled in building collaborative relationships that drive customer value.
Having knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and digital machining tools
Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish is required
Military service must be completed (for male candidates only)
High willingness to travel without any restrictions,
Having valid driving license class B
