We are now looking for a curious, confident and business-oriented Technical Support Specialist – someone who wants to ensure successful delivery of our world class premium Customer Experience, focusing on services for today, with the needs of tomorrow in mind. Are you that someone?
Key performance areas
- As Technical Support Specialist, you are a member of the Sandvik Coromant Sales Operations team with accountability for the strategic direction of the global sales organization, establishing and reaching the objectives of the sales operations function.
- The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for performing customer technical support for products, applications & digital solutions related to Sandvik Coromant total offer via telephone, email and online chat service, capture leads and turn into opportunities.
- Follow up on Customer Satisfaction, phone/chat data analysis and sales generated through this customer interaction.
Other important responsibilities
- To build and inspire an environment of continuous improvement, making best use of resources, technology and opportunities available anchored from global processes and systems, including:
- Providing technical and application support via contact center (phone, chat), MS Teams and email for customers, channels, partners and internal employees related to physical products, digital tools and services. This includes, turning, milling, drilling and tool holding product and technical data selection such as cutting data, speeds, feeds, etc.
- Processing requests from first line support through CRM case management
- Capturing and create leads based on incoming customer, channel and partner requests.
Your background and profile
- Proficient in written/verbal English is required, a second language required in some markets
- Two - Five years’ experience in a metal cutting manufacturing environment
- Able to read and understand customer part drawings
- Ability to work through a process and troubleshoot
- Promote the online & mobility tools to all stakeholders
- Continuous education on new products offering and industry trends
- Cross border support for stakeholders in multiple markets
- Chat support in multiple languages using contact center solution with translation tool
