Business Development Manager

Your responsibilities:

  • Conducting market analysis for EMEA including Russian-speaking Baltic countries
  • Active participation for developing market strategies and forecast process
  • Support and cooperation with Sales Managers in all tender processes
  • Support to the sales managers, cooperation between internal supplier and sales areas
  • Identification of sales opportunities and assess customer needs
  • Cooperation with prospective clients to explain the benefits of products and services to promote and build brand loyalty
  • Manage customers in all phases of the sales cycle
  • Provide advice and post-sale visit when required
  • Preparation of weekly reports to identify prospecting data and sales opportunities
  • Active search of new distribution opportunities through regular visits
  • Working closely with technical area for the development of brands and product to meet the customers’ requirements and grow the customer portfolio

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position of Business Development Manager in mining industry
  • Background/experience preferably on the Russian speaking market
  • Extensive knowledge of customer management
  • Technical knowledge required to provide technical advice to clients
  • Knowledge of market conditions by level of competitiveness
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written min. B2),
  • Good command of Russian
  • Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Driving license
  • Openness to business travel (domestic and international) 40% of the time

Will be an advantage:

  • University degree medium or higher degree in technical studies or related discipline (ideally at Mining)
