Document Controller & Project Administrator (S3)

The Role:

The Document Controller & Project Administrator controls and coordinates all project documentation and project administration activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, internal policies, and international standards.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Manage project documentation registers and transmittals
  • Ensure compliance with customer and contractual requirements
  • Coordinate cross‑border documentation and Incoterms
  • Liaise with finance on procurement documentation and payments
  • Support tendering and project execution
  • Communicate documentation status to stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement of documentation processes
  • Promote Sandvik core values and EHS compliance

Key results area:

  • On‑time and accurate documentation delivery
  • Documentation compliance and audit readiness
  • Timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Documentation risk mitigation
  • Stakeholder satisfaction

EHS Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Sandvik EHS requirements
  • Apply safe working practices
  • Exercise stop‑work authority where required

Competences:

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation
  • High ethical standards and integrity

Your Profile:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years document control experience in a multinational environment
  • 3+ years project support experience

Other requirements:

  • National and international travel as required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
