The Role:

Responsible for managing the warranty claims process for new and/or rebuilt equipment and aftermarket parts related to all business areas within Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse warranty claims submitted by customers to determine their validity and compliance with internal warranty policies.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of all warranty claims and their status.
  • Compile data and generate reports related to warranty claims, performance, and trends and distribute these reports to the relevant stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Recommend corrective actions to improve warranty processes, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Limited travel to suppliers and mine sites if required.
  • Provide training and support to all stakeholders on the warranty claim process.

Your profile:

  • Grade 12/equivalent qualification
  • Trade certificate of competence (Millwright/Electrical/Fitter & Turner/Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic)
  • Diploma in Engineering (N6)
  • 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of trackless mobile equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Excel) and report writing skills
  • English proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
