Field Service Coordinator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Field Services Coordinator to support our field operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating service requests, managing technician schedules, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with service desk platforms, particularly JIRA Service Desk, and a strong ability to communicate across departments and with external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch field service technicians based on service requests and priority levels.
Manage and monitor incoming service tickets using JIRA Service Management, ensuring accurate categorization, prioritization, and timely resolution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for field service inquiries, updates, and escalations.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, technician availability, and customer interactions.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Customer Support) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Generate reports from JIRA to track service metrics, technician performance, and customer satisfaction.
Assist in developing and refining field service processes and documentation.
Support inventory tracking and equipment logistics for field operations.
Provide training and support to field staff on JIRA Service Desk usage and best practices.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or operations support role.
Proficiency with JIRA Service Management or similar ticketing systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with field service operations and scheduling tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with reporting and data analysis tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a technical or industrial field service environment.
Knowledge of SLAs and service performance metrics.
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Experience with ERP platforms.
Basic understanding of ITIL or service management frameworks.
