The Role:
Get customer satisfaction by installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning service, considering economical and other aspects. Problem solving by using of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in different kinds of situations. Knowledge of the tasks, tools and procedures associated with providing technical support to the sales team and prospective customers.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform breakdown repairs and fault finding on Sandvik crushing and screening equipment.
- Conduct planned maintenance, inspections, and condition assessments.
- Perform equipment commissioning and installation support.
- Complete technical reports and service documentation.
- Provide technical support to customers on site and remotely.
- Conduct root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist customers with maintenance planning and best practices.
- Deliver operator and maintenance training.
- Support parts identification and recommendations.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with mine and company requirements.
- Able to read schematic drawings

Your Profile:
- Qualified N6 Millwright, Mechanical Fitter, or equivalent trade qualification.
- Valid Clean Driver's licence.
- Ability to obtain medical fitness certification for mine sites.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and reporting systems not negotiable).
- Minimum 5 years' experience on cone crushers, jaw crushers, screens, feeders, and related crushing equipment.
- Experience with Sandvik Mobiles & Static Crushers i.e. CH, CS, CJ, QA, QE, and QJ product ranges would be advantageous.
- Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, lubrication, and control systems.
- Experience working on mine sites and in remote locations.
- Experience working with PLCs a distinct advantage
Technical Competencies:
- Crusher assembly and disassembly.
- Component replacement.
- Hydroset systems.
- Lubrication systems.
- ACS and automation systems.
- Mechanical and hydraulic fault finding.
- Reading technical drawings and manuals.
- Condition monitoring and inspections.
- Root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
