Director Business Control CCO

Turn financial performance into clear direction for a complex global business. Here, you lead consolidated performance reporting and equip sales operations with the analysis, recommendations, and tools needed to make informed business decisions.

About the job

You oversee actual performance, forecasts and targets across 14 sales regions, coordinating closely with nine global divisions. With a strong commercial perspective, you strengthen decision-making, reporting quality, and overall business performance. You’re part of the BA Finance Leadership Team and report functionally to the Director of BA Business Controlling and operationally to the Chief Customer Officer.

Job responsibilities

Consolidate and deliver timely reporting of actual results, forecasts, and targets.

Analyze financial performance and provide clear explanations, insights, and business recommendations.

Support profitability analysis and the preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals.

Drive improvements in reporting, forecasting accuracy, KPI development, net working capital efficiency, and performance management.

Establish standardized ways of working, processes and tools for business control, including support for Finance IT tools and future developments.

Contribute to talent and succession planning across CCO and the Sales Areas, with particular focus on finance and business control positions.

Location

This position is based at the World Trade Center in Stockholm.

Your profile

You’re an experienced finance leader who combines strong business control expertise with the ability to influence decisions in a global matrix organization. A university degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or an equivalent field provides the foundation for your strategic and commercial perspective.

Your background includes

Significant experience in business control, commercial finance, sales finance, or FP&A.

Strong knowledge of P&L, profitability, forecasting, and financial performance management.

Proven ability to translate complex financial data into practical business recommendations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, together with fluency in English.

Experience working effectively across a global, matrix organization.

Desired experience

Experience from an international B2B industrial, engineering, manufacturing or technology company.

Familiarity with pricing, customer profitability, commercial performance, ERP, BI or data-analytics tools.

Experience partnering with senior sales executives, leading cross-functional transformation initiatives, or applying AI and data-driven financial analysis.

Analytical and solutions-oriented, you bring clarity to complex topics and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders. You build productive relationships across functions, balance strategic direction with operational priorities, and create momentum around shared performance goals.
