About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Key Account Manager responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth across assigned accounts, leading a value-driven sales approach, and delivering outstanding customer experience. This role acts as a trusted advisor to customers, building deep understanding of their business, objectives, and future strategy, and identifying how Sandvik can support and enhance their success.
You will develop a strong understanding of Sandvik’s position within each account, proactively identifying opportunities and creating clear action plans to deliver meaningful, value-led solutions. By fostering strong relationships and collaborating across the internal Sandvik network, you will position Sandvik as a preferred partner, strengthening long-term partnerships and enabling mutual business success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a detailed account plan in partnership with internal stakeholders, aligning efforts to drive sustainable growth and co-create long-term value with the customer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and customer stakeholders, ensuring effective engagement at all levels and maximising value delivery.
- Ensure the value of Sandvik’s full offering is clearly understood by relevant customer stakeholders, tailored to their specific roles and priorities.
- Monitor performance against agreed plans and take timely, decisive action to adjust and improve outcomes as needed.
About you
Candidates will demonstrate a high level of initiative, drive, and determination, with a strong focus on setting targets and achieving results through exceptional customer satisfaction. They will bring solid commercial experience and a natural ability to lead, while working collaboratively within a team to deliver outcomes. A proactive approach to identifying innovative opportunities to grow the business and increase market share is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering successful, value-driven solutions. Strong cultural awareness and excellent communication skills are key, enabling the development of trusted, collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. The ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation and travel as required is also expected.
