Maintenance Worker

Sandvik (Jining) Rocbolt Technologies China Co., Ltd. currently has an opening for a Maintenance Worker, located in Jining China, hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

1) Comply with all Sandvik EHS policies and procedures

2) Strictly adhere to the company’s rules, regulations and relevant safety management systems

3) Equipment maintenance and repair: Carry out regular inspections, maintenance and servicing of electrical equipment; repair faulty equipment promptly to ensure its normal operation.

4) Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and rectify faults in electrical equipment, including electrical circuits, motors, transformers and switchboards.

5) Safe operation: Adhere to electrical safety operating procedures to ensure the safety of the working environment and personnel.

6) Preventive maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programmes, monitor the operational condition of equipment, and identify and resolve potential issues in advance.

7) Spare parts management: Manage the stock of spare parts for electrical equipment to ensure that appropriate spare parts are available when required.

8) Record-keeping: Record detailed information regarding equipment maintenance, repairs and fault rectification, including working hours, repair details and replacement parts.

9) Collaboration and Communication: Communicate and collaborate with other relevant departments or personnel to jointly resolve issues relating to electrical equipment.

10) Training and Guidance: Provide staff with training on equipment operation and maintenance, and guide them on the correct use of equipment.

11) Technical Improvements: Keep abreast of technical developments in electrical equipment, propose suggestions for improvement, and enhance equipment performance and efficiency.

12) Project Involvement: May participate in electrical installation, refurbishment or upgrade projects to ensure they proceed smoothly and according to plan.

13) Strictly comply with relevant regulations and operating procedures; live-line work is strictly prohibited; carry out inspections and maintenance of all electrical equipment on schedule.

14) Ensure high standards of maintenance quality; all equipment maintained must meet operational standards, and maintenance records must be kept.

15) Maintain accurate shift handover records.

16) Undertake other tasks assigned by management as required.

Experience & Knowledge:

1) At least one year’s experience in electrical maintenance; candidates with experience in multinational manufacturing companies will be given priority

2) Familiarity with electrical maintenance procedures

3) Possession of relevant technical skills and a valid electrician’s certificate

4) Good team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills;
