About the Opportunity
At Sandvik, sustainability is fundamental to how we create value for our customers, people, communities and the environment. We are seeking a motivated Sustainability Advisor to support the delivery of our sustainability strategy across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Working closely with Finance, EHS, Procurement and operational teams, you will play an important role in collecting, analysing and interpreting sustainability data that supports environmental performance, climate reporting, Modern Slavery compliance and broader ESG commitments.

Responsibilities
Coordinate the collection, validation and consolidation of sustainability and environmental data, including emissions, energy, fuel, waste and water data.
Support annual sustainability, climate and emissions reporting requirements, including Scope 3 emissions, AASB S2 and customer reporting obligations.
Analyse sustainability data to identify trends, risks, reporting gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare dashboards, reports and insights that support business decision-making and sustainability performance.
Assist with the development and implementation of sustainability projects that improve environmental performance, circularity, resource efficiency and responsible sourcing.
Support Modern Slavery reporting activities and sustainable supplier management initiatives.
Develop internal communications and materials that promote sustainability initiatives and progress against Sandvik's sustainability goals.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainability reporting processes, systems and controls.
Promote and support Sandvik's commitment to safety, environmental responsibility and responsible business practices.
About you
You are a curious and detail-oriented professional with a passion for sustainability and a strong ability to work with data. You enjoy collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and can translate complex information into meaningful insights that drive action.
You will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Data Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience gained through employment, internships, graduate programs or university projects involving sustainability, environmental management, reporting, compliance or data analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work accurately with large or complex datasets.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using Power BI, Workiva, ERP systems or reporting platforms highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify improvement opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
A genuine interest in sustainability reporting, climate-related disclosures, emissions accounting and ESG performance.
