HR Operations Specialist (12- Month Fixed Term Contract)

We’re on the lookout for a motivated HR Operations Specialist to join our Ground Support team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our people processes - delivering high-quality HR support, strengthening compliance, and partnering with leaders to create a positive and high-performing workplace.

Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver accurate and timely HR advice, support, and services to managers and employees across all functional HR areas, ensuring alignment with policies and best practices.
- Execute core HR processes seamlessly, including offboarding, payroll coordination, and employee data management, with a focus on efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain and manage HR systems (Workday, Definitiv, Enboarder) and records to ensure data integrity, legal compliance and timely reporting in accordance with company standards.
- Support employee lifecycle activities by collaborating with the wider HR team and cross functional departments to deliver consistent and high quality HR services.
- Assist in the implementation of strategic HR initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
- Lead and support employee relations matters including investigations into workplace concerns, ensuring thorough documentation, confidentiality, and resolution in line with legal and company standards.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities as and when required.
About You:
You bring experience in HR operations, generalist HR or a similar role, with a solid understanding of Australian employment legislation including the Fair Work Act, NES and relevant awards. You are highly organised with strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can manage multiple priorities. A confident communicator, you build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and approach sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion. You are comfortable working with HR systems and handling confidential information, and you take a proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for continuous improvement and delivering quality HR outcomes.
