About your job
You set the strategic direction for internal controls across BA Mining, advancing maturity, consistency, and impact. You combine leadership, transformation, and governance, ensuring a robust control framework that supports business growth and compliance.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing global team, setting direction and strengthening capabilities
- Define and implement the long-term strategy for internal controls, aligned with business objectives
- Act as a key driver in the SAP S4/Hana transformation, ensuring robust control design and integration
- Advance automation and data-driven control mechanisms to enhance efficiency and transparency
- Partner with senior stakeholders across BA and Group, influencing decisions and ways of working
- Oversee compliance, audit readiness, and the effective resolution of control gaps and findings
Location
The location for this position is at the World Trade Center in Stockholm, some travel is part of your job.
Your profile
We believe you have a strong foundation in financial control, internal audit, or governance; enabling you to operate confidently in complex, international environments. You bring a strategic mindset paired with the ability to translate vision into execution, and you’re comfortable engaging at senior leadership level.
Your background includes:
- A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in internal controls, financial governance, or audit
- Strong expertise in financial systems and reporting environments
- Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives, ideally linked to system implementations
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
