HDD Regional Sales Representative

US REGIONAL SALES PROFESSIONAL - NORTHEAST

Inrock Drilling Systems is one of the world’s largest tooling and service providers serving the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry. We provide tools and services to HDD contractors globally to help them install infrastructure pipelines transporting water, sewer, oil, gas, electric and fiber underneath geological and man-made obstacles.
Your mission
In this role you will play a key part the in taking Inrock to the next phase of growth. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will:
- Develop and execute long-term, results-oriented sales strategies for identified accounts to generate new business, increase revenues and build and maintain long term customer relationships
- Achieve ambitious sales goals related to value, volume, profitability, and customer experience
- Lead strategic relationships with customers and partners, delivering tailored solutions and lasting value
- Develop and maintain contact with key decision-makers within customer base including management representatives, engineers, drilling superintendents or other personnel within the customer’s organization
- Maintain knowledge of current and new products through interaction with engineering, guidance service and operations personnel
- Represent Inrock at trade shows and conferences
- Monitor and report HDD drilling activity in the region and provide input as to changing market conditions so as to assist with input in marketing strategy
About you
- Deep understanding of the North American HDD market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior
- 5 years of experience in HDD. Sales, estimating, or project management
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
- A strategic, customer-centric mindset with the ability to influence and engage
- Excellent communication, strong presence, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel domestically for customer interaction, representation and internal meetings
