The role
As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in elevating our brand presence across Australia, New Zealand and PNG. Working in a dynamic and passionate team, you will drive and execute impactful marketing and communication initiatives that support the strategic objectives of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, craft compelling brand narratives, and help shape the future of a global leader in mining and rock technology.
Areas of responsibility
- Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with business line managers to develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans that align with regional goals.
- Campaign Execution: Drive engaging digital campaigns across social media, SEM, and EDMs, while ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling internal communications, support executive messaging, and contribute to presentations, webinars, and intranet content.
- Brand Stewardship: Uphold Sandvik’s brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring a unified voice and visual presence.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and delivery of key events, exhibitions, product launches, and sponsorships that elevate our market presence.
- Global Collaboration: Liaise with internal global marketing teams and product divisions to ensure alignment and information flow across the business.
Your profile
You are a confident and creative communicator with a flair for crafting compelling messages that resonate. Backed by a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or communications, you bring over three years of experience in a fast-paced marketing and communications environment.
You have a strong grasp of how to position products and services in the marketplace, and you know how to leverage the right channels—digital, print, events, and more—to amplify brand presence and drive engagement. Your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, sets you apart. Whether you're developing content, coordinating campaigns, or supporting strategic initiatives, you bring a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering results.
