We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AP Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, vendor management, month-end closing, and compliance with company policies and internal controls. The successful candidate will also support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to AP team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor reconciliations.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, AP reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.

  • Manage vendor onboarding and vendor master data in compliance with company procedures.

  • Monitor AP aging, resolve payment issues, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and internal control requirements.

  • Support audits and provide required documentation and explanations.

  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives within the AP function.

  • Coach and support AP team to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance, including 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.

  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, month-end closing, reconciliations, and internal controls.

  • Experience with ERP systems (Infor, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar).

  • Good understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and PSAK.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in Big Four and/or mining companies will be an advantage.
