About the Opportunity
In this role, you will identify and develop aftermarket sales opportunities within an established customer base, with a strong focus on Global Business products, including Fire Suppression systems and Mobile Refuelling Stations. Working closely with customers, you will analyse fleet composition, maintenance practices, and operational challenges to proactively identify gaps and deliver tailored aftermarket solutions.
You will act as a key link between customers and internal teams, ensuring aftermarket issues are resolved efficiently, opportunities are progressed effectively, and customer satisfaction remains high. This role suits someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, applying technical knowledge with commercial insight, and delivering value-driven solutions that support customer uptime, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage aftermarket sales opportunities through fleet analysis, maintenance reviews, and customer engagement, taking ownership from opportunity creation through to completion.
- Drive aftermarket growth across Global Business products, including parts, services, support solutions, custom agreements, and training opportunities aligned to customer operational needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary liaison for aftermarket matters, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
- Conduct gap and risk analysis across customer fleets to identify improvement opportunities, reliability enhancements, and sales growth potential.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Portfolio Managers and supply teams, to provide customer insights, support product and offering development, and enable effective stock planning and forecasting.
- Maintain strong technical and commercial knowledge of products, applications, and customer maintenance and reliability programmes to support informed solution delivery.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, opportunity pipelines, customer satisfaction, and business activity, while consistently working towards agreed sales targets in line with Sandvik’s safety, quality, and ethical standards.

About you:
You are a commercially minded and relationship-driven professional with demonstrated experience in equipment and aftermarket sales and service within an industrial or technical environment. You have a strong understanding of customer operations and maintenance practices and are comfortable engaging in discussions around planning, scheduling, reliability, and lifecycle management.
You excel at building trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, and you are confident initiating conversations, influencing outcomes, and negotiating value-based solutions. Your ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations, combined with strong emotional intelligence, allows you to navigate complex customer scenarios effectively.
You bring a proactive mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage your workload in a dynamic environment. You are digitally capable, experienced in CRM opportunity management, and comfortable using Microsoft and other business software. While knowledge of Fire Suppression system service and installation
