About the Role

Are you looking to launch your career in a commercially focused, data-driven role? We’re looking for an entry-level Commercial Analyst to join our team on a 3-month contract, covering paternity leave, with potential for ongoing work.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in a high-impact role, working closely with our Sales and Customer Service teams to enhance our operations, insights, and internal systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This role blends commercial analysis with operational support and administrative system improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting sales performance analysis through reporting, pricing, and contract reviews.
Working on key commercial initiatives such as forecasting, demand planning, and stock control.
Reviewing, organising, and overhauling internal administrative systems and filing structures.
Assisting with contract management, customer queries, and rebate tracking.
Building and maintaining internal databases and process documentation.
Preparing reports and dashboards using Excel and other tools to identify trends and insights.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

One of the following core skill sets (essential):

Advanced Excel and strong numeracy skills (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables, complex formulas). OR
Legal knowledge or education, such as a background in Law or strong contract comprehension skills.

And these attributes:

Exceptionally structured, systematic, and organised - you love creating order and improving processes.
A keen eye for detail and a natural problem solver.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative mindset with the confidence to engage with various stakeholders.

You may be a final-year student or a recent graduate in Business, Law, Commerce, Finance, or a related field, and you're comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with reporting tools or databases would be an added advantage.
