The role
We are looking for a Commercial Manager Responsible for the Rock Tools commercial activities and the management of the Rock Tools Administration Team. This includes the commercial alignment with the Sales Area Regional Commercial, Legal and Tax teams Leading improvement initiatives and associated projects that support the Rock Tools business growth and strategic plans. This role is a full-time requirement however, Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options.
Areas of responsibility
- Developing the commercial strategy by identifying and prioritising improvement initiatives, establishing execution strategies by analysing processes and procedures, by driving standardization across Rock Tools business, including the development of standard models for key processes.
- Analysis and implementation of the pricing schedules (estimates) associated with the Rock Tools Business Line.
- Building customer relationships and negotiation of commercial, contract and pricing terms.
- Identifying and managing Rock Tools commercial risk and aligning with the Sales Area Commercial, Legal and Tax teams.
- Responsible for the Rock Tools administration team delivering on all key metrics to ensure effectiveness and accuracy driving business profitability.
Your profile
A high level of initiative, drive, and determination to set targets and achieve goals through delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction is a key consideration in the selection for this position. You are an experienced business professional; you like to lead and are your best working in a team to achieve results. You understand the general procurement process and preparation of tender submissions/contract management and have demonstrated experience as a strong communicator and planner with analytical capability. Excellent business analytical skills and a high attention to detail which allows you to be able to understand end-to-end business processes and generate ideas for improvement to improve customer satisfaction is essential.
