We are looking for a meticulous & proactive Finance Lead for our newly established heavy machinery assembly factory in Seremban - Sendayan Techvalley for the underground load & haul equipment.
About the Division
Load & Haul Division, the home of Sandvik loaders and trucks for underground mining business. Here we are safer, stronger, and smarter, as we like to say it. We have been the market leader by accelerating diesel and battery-electric equipment development, with sharpened priorities. We work in close co-operation with the sales areas within the Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions Business Area, to provide the best possible service to our customers. Load & Haul home base is located in Turku, Finland. Additionally, we have operations in Camarillo, USA and Changzhou, China as well in Seremban, Malaysia.
Do we share the same goals?
In this position you are primarily responsible to oversee & establish overall strategic financial operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, provide strategic financial guide, administer organization's financial health, including tasks like tax reporting, financial reporting, and financial risk management to support the company's growth and profitability.
Additionally, this role involves developing strategies related to tax, treasury, and accounts payable, extensive knowledge in various finance streams and proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA. Large involvement in heading governance and internal controls matters besides developing good business relations for Government Agency & internal Sandvik stakeholders.
Leadership:
Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Financial Management:
Oversee & manage the financial operations of the company, including accounting, forecasting, & financial and tax reporting – strategically to support business objectives
Financial Control:
Implement, develop & maintain robust financial controls, policies to safeguard company assets & ensure accurate financial reporting, financial integrity, ensure compliance and accountability
Net Working Capital Management:
Develop & optimize net working capital, cash flow, liquidity by managing receivables and payables
Tax Management:
Develop strategies, ensure compliance with all statutory, tax regulations and filings
Treasury Management:
Oversee and manage FX investment, strategies and hedging financial risk management
Accounts Payable (AP):
Co-supervise the AP team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
Look to assist and implement Supply Chain Financing
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data
Your background and what we find important
This role would be ideal for someone looking to further develop & stay highly motivated for new challenges to enhance expertise in the corporate financing & compliance area. As a person you should have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, strategic, resourceful and deliver as required, fluent English speaking with a minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance roles, within the heavy machineries assembly / manufacturing environment or equivalent, familiar with LMW setup, familiar with SAP S/4 Hana & Ariba system utilization related to procurement function. You have a CA, CPA or equivalent international accounting certification, strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, financial control and performance management.
