About your job

In this role, you play a key role in shaping the way our advanced equipment, systems, and digital solutions are understood and utilized. You collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, service professionals, and other key stakeholders to develop precise and user-focused documentation. Your deliverables – ranging from manuals and technical guides to installation instructions and spare parts catalogues – serve as essential tools for both internal teams and customers worldwide. Through your work, you contribute to operational excellence and help ensure seamless user experience across our global network.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation in compliance with industry standards and Sandvik’s brand voice.
• Translate complex engineering and product information into clear, structured content.
• Create spare parts catalogues, manuals, and user documentation.
• Manage content lifecycle in content management systems.
• Ensure documentation supports global safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to digitalization initiatives, such as interactive manuals and smart documentation.

The location for this position is Svedala – a fast and easy commute from cities like Malmö and Lund. We offer you a hybrid work solution.

About you

We’re looking for someone with proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in manufacturing, mining or industrial technology. You’re familiar with structured writing, XML authoring tools, and content management systems. Your knowledge is backed by a technical background or education within engineering, technical communication or similar. For this role, you need strong writing skills in English. Knowledge of Swedish or other languages are a plus.
Equally important are your personal qualities. You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a clear, structured communication style. You are proactive, take ownership of your work, and strive for excellence in every deliverable. With a collaborative mindset, you thrive in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and solution-oriented working environment.
