Service Technician (Afternoon Shift) – Kenwick, WA
About the opportunity
We have several exciting opportunities available for experienced and motivated Mechanics / Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our busy Kenwick Workshop. We welcome applications from tradespeople across all industries who are ready to bring their skills to a dynamic, team-focused environment.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing pre-delivery inspections (equipment preparation), preventative maintenance, and repair work across a range of mining equipment and subcomponents. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced and challenging workshop where safety, quality, and teamwork are key.
These are permanent, full-time roles working the afternoon shift (2:00pm–12:00am) on a Monday to Thursday roster — enjoy a long weekend every weekend, with 10-hour shifts and paid breaks.
Your profile
You will bring a positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety, along with:
A relevant trade qualification (preferred).
Experience working on mining or heavy equipment (Sandvik experience highly regarded).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A reliable work ethic and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
