We are now looking for an Applications Assistant and HSE Lead to join the team.

Job summary
As an Applications Assistant and HSE Lead, your mission is to safeguard communities and the environment by effectively mitigating subsidence risks through innovative and precise drilling and injection techniques.
Key performance areas include putting safety first, considering and taking responsible actions with environmental health and safety aspects. The role will involve planning and designing drilling and injection operations as well as conducting site assessments and geotechnical investigations to address subsidence issues. You will work in close collaboration with project managers, geotechnical engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective subsidence mitigation strategies. You will prepare detailed reports and documentation on drilling and injection activities, including risk assessments and project progress updates.

Nationwide travel with overnight stays with occasional weekend working form part of this role.

Your profile

It is essential that the successful candidate has a strong EHS understanding and culture, with a good knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices. You must have a flexible approach to working hours and overtime, including weekend working to suit the customer/business needs. You have a qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field and/or extensive experience gained drilling and injection operations, preferably in subsidence mitigation. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively present information, address questions, and lead our customers successfully.

You hold a valid UK license and willing to travel to travel to various project sites. An ability to work independently, whilst being part of a team is a must.
