Business Control and Excellence Manager
The Rock Drills Technology Unit is responsible for the product development, supply and support of premium rock drill offering for Surface Drilling and Underground Drilling applications as well as for global aftermarket and service. Our expertise in best-in-class rock drilling technology is recognized globally, and it drives us to continue excel through innovation in rock drills, digital products and supply chain excellence. We are now looking for a Business Control and Excellence Manager. This position is full-time, permanent and located at Tampere Myllypuro site. Your mission is to lead Rock Drills Technology Unit reporting, process excellence and forecasting with high focus fact-based decision making through data and drive continuous and proactive development of unit's performance. You are key driver of our strategy and valued member of Rock Drills Technology Unit management team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop Rock Drills Technology Unit reporting and analytics to ensure transparent and online availability of information for decision making
- Own and develop Rock Drills S&OP process to drive proactive decision making to ensure best financial impact for Sandvik
- Lead a team of professionals and develop competences in business analytics in the Rock Drills Technology Unit
- Lead Rock Drills Technology Unit strategy development and execution through transparent and well managed OKR process
- Act as key contact with different divisional forums and contact to ensure strategic alignment by understanding the changing needs and creating proposals to meet them on a strategic level
- Develop business intelligence analytics for Rock Drills together with Divisions and BA
- Drive process excellence in the unit on all levels of the organization
- Support managers to find ways to define financial value and cost for their development proposals and activities
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related discipline
- Several years’ progressive experience in finance and business control– preferably in an international environment
- An energetic change leader with experience in creating and implementing strategy and process excellence
- Strong analytical, strategical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of delivering change in complex organizations
- Fluency in English and Finnish is mandatory to be successful in the role
