Inrock Drilling Systems is one of the world’s largest tooling and service providers serving the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry. We provide tools and services to HDD contractors globally to help them install infrastructure pipelines transporting water, sewer, oil, gas, electric and fiber underneath geological and man-made obstacles.

Your mission

You play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and running financial processes that support our business and drive a strategic direction. Your focus is strengthening financial reporting, training, collaboration and sharing best practices. To ensure we’re well-equipped for the future, you drive improvements and highlight new opportunities. Your ability to lead and drive both operational delivery and address strategic questions is highly important.

Business support and performance management are crucial aspects of the role. You challenge and optimize our business performance by providing efficient, reliable and proactive financial support and actively participating in business decisions. By working closely with stakeholders, you transfer your financial knowledge and promote ownership of both numbers and performance. You communicate relevant financial analysis to the right people at the right time, clarifying the financial implications of potential business decisions.

The location for this position is Houston, Texas.

About you
We’re looking for a confident leader with several years of experience in finance and business controlling, with a focus on both people and results. You should have a systematic working style and easily balance operational and strategic topics. You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and are skilled in Office 365 and ERP systems, OneStream, and Power BI.

You're a passionate and encouraging leader focused on the development of your team. You strive for high quality and great results, and you’re excellent at prioritizing and making decisions, as well as challenging us to look at new perspectives. By communicating in a confident, structured, and informative way that brings people on board, you set the direction for our operations and make things happen.
