We are now recruiting for a Business Analyst- Transport Management (Hybrid) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.

JOB PURPOSE

Join us as a Business Analyst and become the vital link between business requirements and technical SAP TM design. You will lead the implementation of SAP Advanced TM and Connected TM modules, ensuring smooth integration, adoption, and continuous improvement of transport management processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead SAP Transportation Management solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment aligned with global business processes.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Transportation Management, guiding teams and stakeholders on best practices.
  • Manage application support processes including incident resolution, service requests, and minor system enhancements.
  • Drive project management for transport-related changes and deployments, ensuring timely go-lives and quality delivery.
  • Conduct workshops, fit-gap analyses, and solution design sessions with end users and technical teams.
  • Validate training materials and support end-user adoption alongside Change Management teams.
  • Analyse system performance, perform root cause analysis on recurring issues, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate across diverse, global teams to promote seamless, sustainable transport solutions.
  • Document future-state processes, functional specifications (RICEFW), and maintain comprehensive solution documentation.
  • Other adhoc duties as requested by Manager.

Experience

  • 7+ years experience in Transportation Management solutions, including SAP TM and other TMS platforms.
  • Expertise in SAP TM configuration, integration, and global template implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and freight transport processes (order tracking, billing, reporting).
  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with Agile delivery methods.
  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst or Solution Lead in transport or logistics IT projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership skills to manage diverse teams and influence cross-functional collaboration.

Education, Licenses & Certificates

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent, with a certification in SAP Transportation Management preferred.
  • ABAP development and debugging skills are a plus.
  • Ability to travel globally as needed.
