Sales and Marketing Intern

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team. The role will expose the intern to a deadline-driven environment where responsiveness, organization, and the ability to work under pressure are key.
Purpose of the role:
- This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who wants to gain practical experience in sales and marketing within environment.
The job responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with daily administrative and coordination tasks
- Assist in sales lead generation and prospecting activities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
- Maintain and update customer CRM system
- Help coordinate client meetings, quotations, and follow-ups
- Support marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Assist with planning, coordination and submission of marketing publication requirements adhering to strict submission deadlines
- Assist with sales reporting and tracking sales activities/initiatives
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient customer service and delivery
- Participate in client engagement and relationship-building activities
Profile Required
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field including Engineering/Metallurgy will be considered where ambitions are to grow in a sales environment
- Exceptional Performance on the above will be advantageous.
