It’s a mission that takes commitment, but as an industry leader we aim for nothing but excellence in everything we do. We offer a diverse range of opportunities through our businesses and cross-border networks, enabling you to explore your potential and thrive.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Production / Projects Support professional to support manufacturing coordination, order follow-up and project administration. This opportunity is suitable for a motivated graduate or someone with up to three years of relevant experience who enjoys working with different teams and keeping actions and delivery milestones on track. This role will be based in Žiar nad Hronom, Slovakia – primarily based at the manufacturing supplier site.

Purpose of the role:

  • Coordinate and monitor the flow of information, documentation, materials, production progress, quality activities and delivery milestones between the manufacturing supplier and internal stakeholders. You will help ensure engineered-to-order equipment and spare-part orders are manufactured, inspected and delivered according to agreed schedules and requirements.

The job responsibilities:

Order administration and follow-up

  • Maintain and regularly update order trackers, delivery schedules, production plans, action lists, and related records.
  • Record confirmed dates, production status, inspection milestones, dispatch dates, and delivery information accurately and on time.
  • Follow up open actions and deadlines with the manufacturing supplier and internal stakeholders.
  • Check whether required order information, approvals, and documentation have been received; maintain an overview of open, delayed, completed, and dispatched orders.
  • Monitor priorities defined by the Supply Chain Coordinator and escalate overdue actions, inconsistencies, or delivery risks.

Communication and coordination support

  • Support daily communication between the manufacturing supplier and internal operations, procurement, engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams.
  • Send reminders, collect responses, and follow up agreed actions with the responsible persons.
  • Arrange meetings and prepare agendas, order lists, action logs, and supporting documents.
  • Record meeting notes, decisions, owners, and deadlines; distribute updates and escalate unresolved or urgent topics to the Supply Chain Coordinator.

Production and procurement support

  • Collect production progress updates from the supplier and compare available information with agreed schedules.
  • Support monitoring of material availability, purchased components, supplier confirmations, and critical procurement items.
  • Maintain lists of missing materials, delayed components, production constraints, and open purchasing actions; highlight potential impacts on delivery dates.
  • Support coordination of information required for production, assembly, testing, packing, and dispatch readiness.

Engineering documentation support

  • Support the distribution and administration of engineering drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Check that the supplier has received the latest available document revisions and maintain records of requested, received, and outstanding documentation.
  • Forward technical questions to engineering, follow up responses, document approved changes and deviations, and identify obsolete or superseded documents.
  • The role does not independently approve technical changes, concessions, or engineering solutions.

Quality and inspection support

  • Support administration of inspection records, quality documentation, non-conformities, claims, rework topics, and corrective actions.
  • Follow up whether required supplier inspections and checks have been completed and documented.
  • Collect inspection evidence, maintain an overview of open quality actions, and escalate missing inspections, repeated issues, or overdue corrective actions.
  • The role supports quality follow-up but does not independently approve products, repairs, deviations, or final acceptance.

EHS, compliance, final testing, and continuous improvement support

  • Support the monitoring and documentation of supplier compliance with applicable EHS, quality, and internal requirements; promptly report observed gaps or unsafe conditions to the responsible coordinator or specialist function.
  • Support final-test readiness and attend final testing when requested to record results, confirm that required documentation is available, and follow up open actions before dispatch.
  • Collect and maintain information on production cost, quality, lead-time, packing, and forwarding issues to support continuous-improvement activities with the supplier and internal teams.
  • Follow up agreed improvement actions and evidence of completion; the role does not independently accept delivery, approve final product release, or sign forwarding documents on behalf of the company unless formally authorised.

Logistics and delivery support

  • Support preparation and follow-up of packing and dispatch activities.
  • Collect shipment readiness information, planned dispatch dates, dimensions, weights, and transport requirements.
  • Coordinate shipping information, check required documents, and update shipment status in the relevant trackers.
  • Follow up proof of delivery and final order documentation where required and escalate potential transport or dispatch delays.

Reporting, data, and project administration

  • Prepare regular status overviews for orders, production, procurement, engineering, quality, and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate data in Excel trackers, shared files, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
  • Check data completeness, highlight discrepancies, prepare basic meeting summaries, and maintain organised electronic folders and records.
  • Support new projects by maintaining milestone trackers, document registers, action lists, and progress updates.

Scope of responsibility and escalation

  • Work according to priorities and guidance defined by the Supply Chain Coordinator.
  • Take ownership of accurate records and timely follow-up, recognise when escalation is required, and provide the relevant facts and supporting information.
  • Final order priorities, customer delivery commitments, major supplier escalations, technical approvals, quality acceptance decisions, and commercial negotiations remain with the responsible coordinator or specialist function.

Mobility:

  • Regular presence at the manufacturing supplier site in Žiar nad Hronom.
  • Occasional travel within Slovakia or abroad for meetings, training, supplier visits, inspections, or project support.
  • Flexibility to cooperate with international teams across different locations and time zones.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school education, preferably in business administration, mechanical engineering, production, or another relevant field.
  • Additional training in logistics, procurement, project administration, quality, or supply-chain management will be advantageous.

Experience:

  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience in production planning, order management, customer service, or supply-chain support.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, steel-fabrication, or mechanical-assembly environment will be advantageous.
  • Experience working with suppliers, production teams, order trackers, delivery schedules, or technical documentation is beneficial.
  • Basic experience with ERP or order-management systems and Excel reporting is preferred.
  • The position is also suitable for a motivated graduate with relevant education, strong organisational skills, and an interest in manufacturing and supply chain.

Skills and competencies:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to follow multiple actions and deadlines.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills and confidence to follow up information with different stakeholders.
  • Proactive, reliable, and structured working approach.
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy, and document control.
  • Ability to recognise risks, missing inputs, and inconsistencies and escalate them promptly.
  • Basic understanding of production, procurement, logistics, order-management, or project-support processes.
  • Ability to work independently within clearly defined responsibilities and to cooperate effectively in an international team.
  • Ability to read basic technical documentation and engineering drawings is advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic awareness of EHS, compliance, and quality requirements in a manufacturing or workshop environment is advantageous.
  • Basic ability to view or work with CAD files is advantageous; the role does not require independent engineering design authority.
