Position Overview:

As an Integration Engineer, you design, build, and create integration solutions that connect systems, domains, and data across Sandvik Coromant. You are a hands-on contributor who turns architectural guidance into reusable and scalable integration assets.

Your primary objective is to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integrations that improve data accessibility. You are responsible for integrating APIs, microservices, events and messaging flows.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering: Develop integration solutions using Azure API Management, Container technologies, Service Bus, Event Hub, and SAP Integration Suite.
Standards: Implement APIs, event publishers/subscribers, and microservices following defined architectural standards.
Deployment: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated deployments.
Trust: Optimize observability through logging, tracing, OpenTelemetry, and monitoring standards.
Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations for reliability, scalability, and cost.
Deploy & Support: Deploy, monitor, and provide third-level support for integration products & assets.
Knowledge Sharing: Promote asset reuse through documentation, collaboration, and technical training.
Collaboration: Collaborate with architects and cross-functional engineering teams.

Education Qualification, Experience & Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in integration, platform, or equivalent software engineering roles as applicable to the vacancies mentioned below under this role, respectively
- 3-5 years of experience – 1 position
- 6-10 years of experience - 2 positions
Location: Pune
Proven experience with integration technologies such as Azure API Management, Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, and SAP Integration Suite.
Hands-on experience with container technologies and microservices architecture.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
Strong understanding of security and authentication concepts including OAuth2, certificates, identity, and networking.
Strong software engineering skills in C#, Java, Python, or Node.js.
Familiarity with event streaming, messaging, and SAP-to-cloud integration patterns.

This position reports to: Integration CoE Manager . Please note this position will be hired under Sandvik India Innovation Pvt ltd.
