Technical Writer – Engineering-to-Order Projects
Do you enjoy turning complex engineering information into clear customer documentation? As a Technical Writer, you create and manage documentation for customer-specific Engineering-to-Order (ETO) projects, helping ensure successful project delivery while driving continuous improvement through digital tools and AI.
About your job
In this role, you create and maintain technical documentation for customer-specific Engineering-to-Order (ETO) projects. Documentation is accurate, compliant, customer-focused, and delivered on time. Beyond writing, you coordinate documentation activities across projects, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to improving processes and standards while balancing customer requirements with business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation for customer-specific ETO projects.
- Review engineering changes and drive required documentation updates.
- Interpret customer requirements and contractual documentation obligations.
- Coordinate documentation activities and support technical writers in larger projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, product management, and service teams.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and digital technologies to improve documentation quality and efficiency.

Your profile
You have a background in technical writing, technical communication, engineering documentation, or a related field. Complex technical information is something you quickly understand and translate into clear, structured, and valuable documentation. Working across functions comes naturally to you, and you’re comfortable coordinating activities and influencing stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Your background includes
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating work across teams and driving progress without formal authority.
- An interest in AI, digitalization, and modern documentation technologies.
- Excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.
A proactive and customer-focused approach helps you succeed in this position. You enjoy driving improvements, balancing detail with a broader business perspective, and building productive relationships across multiple functions. Strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively in an international and team-oriented environment.
