Warehouse Operator

The role

Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store's facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.

Main Responsibilities

Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established Procedures.
Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and Regulate warehouse space.
Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of Facilities and equipment.
Develop the warehouse processes and improve team performance using Lean methodology.

Your profile

Namibian Citizen
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Computer literacy
Certificate in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or a related field or equivalent. (Advantageous)
Experience in warehousing and inventory control in a mining environment.
Valid driver’s license - EC1 (Code 10)
Valid Forklift License

Other information: This is a 4-months temporary position
