The role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a pivotal role supporting our warehouse operations. The primary focus of this position is to provide expert support for our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including ERPs such as Blue Yonder, and to play a key role in the implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) across our satellite warehouse network.

You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives by analysing, designing, and optimising warehouse processes to boost efficiency, lower operational costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Areas of responsibility

  • Collaborate with the global team to implement SAP EWM in Australia
  • Support the rollout of SAP EWM across seven satellite warehouses
  • Continuously improve WMS system configuration and manage support requests
  • Use supply chain expertise to analyse and enhance warehouse operations
  • Partner with global hubs and process owners to share best practices
  • Work with IT and other departments to integrate process-improving technologies
  • Deliver training and support to warehouse staff on new systems and processes
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Your profile

We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to join our team in a key Supply Chain Management role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in the supply chain, including at least 4 years in a similar position. A university degree in Supply Chain Engineering, Logistics, or Business Administration is desirable, along with certifications in Project Management, LEAN, SCOR, or Six Sigma. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with end users and stakeholders are essential, as is the capability to work collaboratively across a wide range of internal teams. The successful candidate will have proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP or Blue Yonder and demonstrate strong critical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Knowledge of Sandvik’s Order to Delivery process will be highly regarded.

The position entails up to 25% of travel, including both domestic and international destinations.
