About The Role
We are seeking a proactive Document Controller to assist the Senior Accountant in the implementation of group accounting policies and strategies with respect to strong documentation support, compliance with financial reporting and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
Document Control
- Manage and control all financial related documents.
- Ensure correct document numbering, filing, and version control
- Maintain structured digital and hard-copy filing systems
- Ensure Audit and compliance readiness at all times.
- Assist in preparation of documents to support group netting payment.
- Good House Keeping and high-level standards of safety.
Reports
- Monthly records of boxes received into storage- departments
- Monthly records of request for documentation and retrieval rate.
- Monthly report on non-returnable documents from archive.
Other
Any other duties that may be assigned by the Senior Accountant
Qualification & Competencies
- Minimum of HND or 1st Degree in any field of study
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite
- Must have at least two years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization and good organizational skills
