Documentation Architect
Sandvik Mining develops and produces products and services for our customers’ drilling, rock reinforcement, hauling, loading and mechanical cutting, as well as mine automation needs, worldwide. Our Load & Haul Division produces underground loaders and trucks. To strengthen our documentation team, we are currently looking for a Documentation Architect to be based in Turku.
Your role
As a Documentation Architect, you will be a member of a team responsible for creating operator’s, maintenance, service & repair manuals, technical bulletins and contribute on spare part documentation process.
You interpret material from our product safety organization, engineering, product line, technical services and other stakeholders and develop manual content independently, following our general documentation principles.
You will actively participate in the development of our customer documentation and the processes involved. In addition, you participate in order-based engineering documentation process, content design and act as key user for our documentation systems.
Your background
To be a successful candidate for this position you need to have a degree in technical engineering and experience in technical documentation, such as creation of operator’s, maintenance and/or parts manuals. Knowledge of structural documentation is essential, and knowledge of content management software is seen as a benefit. Experience in Oxygen/Tridion software is crucial and experience of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD-, PDM software is seen as a benefit.
The original language of our manuals is English. Therefore, you must possess excellent written and verbal English language skills. Finnish language skills are also required, as some of our source material is only available in Finnish. The Documentation Team is working in international environment so as well as being result oriented and quality conscious in your working style, you are also a team player with an ability to express yourself with good communication and social skills.
