We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Rock Tools Facility Planning Lead (90-day summer student role) to join our team. The Rock Tools Facility Planning Lead is responsible for planning and designing facility layouts and options plan. A key aspect of the responsibility is building a digital catalogue for establishing permanent long-term service facilities and short-term mobile service facilities.

What you will be doing
- Prioritize safety in all job plans and activities.
- Develop a detailed plan / layout and configuration of existing Sandvik Rock Tools Service Facilities.
- Establishing multiple Facility layouts and configurations.
- Establishing multiple Sea Can layouts and configurations.
- Working with new and existing suppliers to establish requirements and options.
- Building equipment checklist / supplies list for facility setups.
- Build a complete specification list of electrical requirements for all equipment and facility options.
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring along
- Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education or equivalent relevant to engineering or architecture fields.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar.
- Excellent collaboration and active listening skills.
- Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be motivated and organized.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible working hours.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Environmental Health and Safety
- Adhere to the Sandvik Environmental, Health & Safety policy.
- Attend Environmental, Health and Safety related trainings.
- Perform risk assessments (“Take Five”) prior to each task.
- Identification and reporting of hazards when relevant
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) assigned for each task.
