Job profile description
- Process embedding:
- Support in Process Implementation:
- Supports the business in implementing needed improvements to increase trade compliance maturity.
- Identify local issues and escalate if needed:
- To maintain high quality in trade compliance processes over time, and to get the support needed to close potential risks.
- Support the business in Restricted Party screening activies:
- To act as a service support and competence center for questions associated with the specific site and within the area of expertise.
- Document and maintain processes in their area of responsibility:
- To have a documented audit trail for future audits as well as to secure knowledge, long-term within the area he/she is responsible for.
- Support in Process Implementation:
- Is responsible to manage the Potential Matches in the organization’s sanctions screening tool(s) on a daily basis. This includes investigating Potential Matches and either:
Clear false positives
- Block true matches in the relevant sanctions screening tool and inform relevant functions to ensure compliance
- Escalating challenging or difficult cases to respective Business Area Global Compliance Officer
- Is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the quality of the Partner data in the screening tool is adequate in order to safeguard a correct outcome of the screening.
- The job also includes understanding and interpretation of relevant local and international sanctions laws and regulations
- Conducting due diligence and risk assessments on new and existing clients to identify potential sanctions risks
- Preparing (and submitting) necessary reports to internal stakeholders if requested
- Coordinating with various departments within the organization to ensure that business activities are conducted in compliance with sanctions laws and regulations
- Reviewing and recommending enhancements to the sanctions screening tools and systems
- Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to on a daily basis.
- Investigating non-obvious false positives, true positive hits, and escalating for further review and approval.

EDUCATION
- Relevant University degree
- Bachelor's degree in law, Political Science, Finance or a related field is an advantage but not a requirement
