Why Sandvik?
Joining us means being part of a global organization where your leadership drives real impact across regions, functions, and markets.

About the job
You lead a global team of Regional Planning Managers located across all continents and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives within Global Operations. Acting as a close partner to Sales Areas, you represent the voice of the customer throughout the supply chain and ensure planning processes support both business performance and customer satisfaction. By fully leveraging the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, you create predictability in supply chain performance and support informed business decisions across regions. You’re a member of the Global Operations Management Team and report to the Vice President of Global Operations.
We are on a journey to Accelerate our Growth, and you and your team play a key role on that journey. You are motivated by understanding and developing our business and put your supply chain and team leadership skills at service towards that.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional plans that support the Global Operations strategy and enable Sales Area ambitions and growth.
- Lead and continuously improve regional S&OP and demand planning processes, ensuring customer demand is captured accurately and translated into reliable forecasts and timely decision-making.
- Maintain a tactical and strategic view of the supply situation and secure relevant information sharing up and downstream across the supply chain.
- Support sales ambitions by ensuring agreed service levels are met regionally while optimizing supply chain performance, inventory health, net working capital, and distribution efficiency.
- Drive the implementation of a common global planning concept and one way of working, sharing best practices across regions to strengthen end-to-end planning performance and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with process owners and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize S&OP performance, improve data flow, and advance automation and standardization across the planning process.
As a member of the Global Operations Management Team, you actively contribute to building a high-performing leadership team. Together with your peers, you set direction, drive cross-functional decisions, and take joint accountability for business performance, strategic priorities, and sustainable growth.
