About the Opportunity
As a Warehouse Worker you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations activities including but not limited to provide warehouse and distribution service, supply of spare parts and materials from the warehouse to the end user in compliance to Sandvik warehousing and logistics procedures and processes. To succeed in this role, you are expected to:
Assist in providing excellent customer service and execution of store tasks to both internal and external customers.
Receive, receipt, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials.
WIP parts control for workshop jobs.
Prepare shipping documentation.
Assist in maintaining order and inventory control.
Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes.
Responsible for strategic stock, goods in transit, product stock and obsolescence reserve in the stockrooms of responsibility.
Responsible for analysis and to drive stock optimization initiatives (ie. Return process) on regular basis.
General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
Your profile
Have completed the Year 12 secondary education
Proven skills and working knowledge of inventory management systems.
Effectively contributes to teams. Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
Strong computer skills including advanced experience with CRM software, Microsoft office
Able to manage own time effectively
Able to communicate in English.
High level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction
