Zonal Manager (South & West) - Aftermarket, Head - Contracts, India

SMRT(i)PL, we have SRP as a business area, which is a leading supplier in equipment, services, support and technical solutions for construction and mining industry and specialist in Crushing, Screening, Mobile plants, and attachments

We are looking for a dynamic and an energetic Manager (South & West) - Aftermarket, Head - Contracts, India for SRP sales area. This role reports to the National Manager – Lifecycle Management. This position will be based in Bangalore.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Firstly, you will ensure a safe working environment abiding by all necessary health and safety requirements and promote a proactive safe working environment.
  • You will be responsible for P&L for respective region for Crushing & screen aftermarket (AM) Business and Identify opportunities to sell Sandvik total offerings
  • You will lead Parts Sales management (sales activities planning and follow up)
  • You will conduct competitor analysis (offering, performance, pricing, market share and services) and identify needed actions.
  • You have deep understanding of customer business, operations and processes, so that the solutions for customer's pain areas are addressed.
  • You will provide the best FC for components, wear parts and parts on future demand.
  • You will work on the Potential Business Vs Targets.
  • You will manage to bring in more AM contracts to ensure the AM business growth
  • You will work as Team member with Sales Team to work towards increasing the fleet base.
  • You should be a Team player, manage the service team & keep them motivated and work towards customer satisfaction.
  • You will recruit, retain and develop Parts Sales & Services Representative (PSSR) including succession planning
  • You need to ensure CRM/ sales Tools is up to date with valid cases.
  • Create customer value propositions and brick wall the customer completely with Sandvik offerings.
  • Work as part of account management team to support customer sales opportunities
  • Identify, analyze and drive resolution of customer issues (warranty and non -warranty)
  • Manage tender to contract signature in conjunction with account management.
  • Do the resource planning and find the gaps of strengths of team so that the competence development is planned.
  • Promote the new C&S LC offerings and ensure its success.
  • Manage the Inventory, NWC, and control the A&S, achieve the desired GGP.
  • Ensure that all reporting formats are adhered to like visit, service, warranty reports etc. of all service engineer are implemented.
  • Keep a track on the Utilization of service team and ensure the targeted Utilization is achieved

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 to 15 years of experience, with at least 8 years of immediate prior association in Crushing & Screening industry in the Maintenance & Service function.
  • Keeping track of driving profitable business growth and positive people leadership is a key requirement of the position.
  • Ability to lead negotiations on commercial T&C’s
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet demanding deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
