Position Overview:
The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure and end‑user support, with a focus on Windows environments and hybrid (On‑prem & Azure) systems. It works closely with users, global stakeholders, and vendors to resolve issues within SLAs, support daily IT operations, and drive continuous improvement through automation, documentation, and proactive monitoring in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and software applications.
- Setup and configure PC and mobile devices, including hardware and software installation.
- Proficient in network troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, and network drives mapping
- Monitor and work on IT tickets with defined SLA
- Provide comprehensive support to users, including initial system setup and user accounts
- Work in a hybrid environment (On-prem & Azure cloud)
- Manage Office 365 email accounts
- Use Intune for enrolling devices
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Document system configurations and procedures
- Deliver timely responses to support requests, ensuring high user satisfaction.
- Maintain and update the IT systems and records, including asset management.
- Assist with IT equipment procurement and vendor coordination.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in Information Technology, or completed relevant certifications.
- 5+ years of IT technical support or service desk experience in a multinational setting, with software development site experience being a plus.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, Windows servers, IP networks, and common business software (Microsoft, Adobe).
- Strong soft skills to interact with employees globally.
- Self-management, good organization, customer interaction, and communication skills.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality customer service.
- Teamwork and networking skills.
- Flexibility, openness to change, and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Strong knowledge of the Windows environment
- Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
What Success Looks Like in This Role :
- Stable and secure IT environments, including Windows servers, Office 365, Active Directory, and hybrid (On‑prem & Azure) infrastructure
- Timely resolution of IT tickets within SLAs, ensuring high user satisfaction and smooth day‑to‑day operations
- Seamless end‑user support and onboarding, including device setup, access management, and endpoint management via Intune
- Proactive system monitoring, security, and automation, minimizing disruptions and improving operational efficiency
- Strong collaboration and documentation, enabling effective vendor coordination, asset management, and continuous improvement
