Your role

In this role, you are a technical leader who shapes how testing is done today and how it must evolve to meet future product, technology, and business demands. You combine deep technical expertise with architectural thinking to enable scalable, automated, and simulation‑driven testing across complex systems, while maintaining an active interest in how AI and data‑driven techniques can support smarter test design, execution, and analysis.

You translate a shared future vision into concrete technical actions and measurable progress. You are not only defining where our testing capabilities need to go, but actively driving alignment, prioritization, and execution across teams to ensure that vision becomes reality and product quality is influenced from the earliest stages of development.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the testing technical roadmap, ensuring our testing capabilities, tools, and architectures evolve in line with upcoming project needs and future technologies
  • Develop and evolve simulators used for functional, integration, and system‑level testing, enabling earlier validation and reduced dependency on physical machines
  • Design and maintain test environments, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL), software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL), and test automation infrastructure that supports scalable and reliable testing.
  • Drive the shaping of requirements during early project planning, ensuring they are testable, cyber‑security aligned, and ready for efficient test automation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to testing engineers, supporting complex issue analysis and raising overall technical competence within the team.

Your background and what we find important

You have relevant technical education (e.g., Master of Science) and solid experience working in complex system development environments. You bring a strong technical understanding of testing, test automation, and system architectures, ideally within automation, mobile equipment, or embedded systems development.

You are comfortable working hands‑on when needed, while also thinking long‑term and architecturally. You have a structured and systematic way of working, and you can clearly specify, plan, and document technical solutions.

You collaborate naturally with multiple stakeholders and are able to influence technical decisions across organizational boundaries. You communicate effectively at all levels and have good verbal and written skills in English. Experience in an international business environment is considered an advantage. You have willingness to travel internationally.
