Regional Aftermarket Product & Pricing Lead – Screening Solutions (India)

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Business Area: BA SRP – Division Screening Solutions
Reports to: TBA (Global Product Manager – SM Screens / Manager Aftermarkets – Sales Area India)

About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Aftermarket Product & Pricing Lead to strengthen the aftermarket and commercial effectiveness of the SM screening range in India.

This role plays a critical part in aftermarket monetization, pricing governance, and lifecycle value growth, acting as a bridge between global strategy and local execution.

Key Focus Areas

✅ Develop standardized aftermarket offerings
✅ Reduce quote lead times through pre-priced solutions
✅ Drive value-based pricing and margin improvement
✅ Ensure global product and pricing strategies are executed effectively in India

Key Responsibilities

Aftermarket Product Development (SM Range)

  • Develop and launch standardized aftermarket offerings such as:
    • Extended warranty packages
    • Spare parts kits (commissioning, maintenance, wear)
    • Reborn / refurbishment solutions
  • Define scope, pricing logic, and eligibility rules
  • Increase aftermarket attachment and lifecycle revenue
  • Provide structured market feedback to global teams

Offers, Pricing & Quote Lead Time Reduction

  • Implement pre-priced parts lists and standard BOMs
  • Maintain:
    • Historically sold parts with approved pricing
    • Standard configurations with predefined BOMs
    • Pricing validity rules (e.g., 12-month validity)
  • Reduce ad-hoc engineering involvement
  • Enable faster, consistent RFQ responses

Pricing Governance & Compliance

  • Execute value-based pricing aligned with global frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with discount structures and approval matrices
  • Monitor margin leakage and pricing deviations
  • Act as the regional escalation point for pricing matters

Sales Enablement & Capability Building

  • Train Sales, Order Desk, and bid teams on:
    • Aftermarket offerings
    • Pricing logic and tools
    • Standardized pre-priced solutions
    • Support onboarding of new commercial team members

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with AC Pune (Design, Sourcing, Order Desk)
  • Coordinate with Global Product Management and Finance
  • Share structured insights on customer behavior, competitors, and market gaps

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field

Experience

  • 5+ years in pricing, aftermarket, commercial excellence, sales operations, or product support
  • Preferred exposure to industrial goods, mining, or construction equipment
  • Experience working with regional sales and operational teams

Skills

  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies and aftermarket business models
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, ERP, and pricing tools
  • Ability to influence across a matrix organization
  • Strong communication and sales-oriented approach
