Web Full-Stack Developer

We are now looking for a Web Full-Stack Developer to our agile development team in Sandvik Digital Services unit to support the growing demand for remote monitoring and analytics services. The preferable location is Tampere, Finland.
Your role
You will work in our agile SW team together with Software Developers, Data Scientist, Data Engineers and Remote Monitoring Specialists to define and implement Sandvik cloud based remote monitoring service. Our Web services include predictive maintenance algorithms, monitoring software tools and other digitalization products which will make mining more sustainable and safer.
The role is within the Global Digital Service team which improves and creates not only new tools but, defines best practices and ways of working to deliver more value to customer thought digitalization.
Your main responsibilities will include
- Develop, test and deploy modern web applications running on Azure cloud services.
- Implement cloud services using React, Nodejs, Typescript and Databases like Cosmos DB.
- Integrate services with other inhouse Azure services.
- Implement third party APIs for external systems use.
- Work together with software users to define features, visualizations and automation processes for monitoring software and for other digitalization software.
Your background
You have a suitable technical education background, e.g. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering. You are seasoned developer and have advanced knowledge of Azure cloud services, modern SW engineering and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Experience in AI technologies or IoT Edge development is an advantage. You have the curiosity to explore new ideas and develop them into robust solutions in collaboration with internal and external customers. As the organization is a global player, you naturally need well-developed English skills.
