Territory Manager North-West Europe

Do you thrive when strategy meets action – and when your leadership directly shapes business results? As Territory Manager for North‑West Europe, you drive growth, build strong customer relationships, and represent our business area Rock Processing as a trusted partner.

About the job

You’re responsible for the overall business performance and long-term development of the North‑West Europe Territory within Rock Processing, covering Sweden, Norway, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Iceland. Acting as Sandvik’s local ambassador, you balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and sustainable results.

You report to the VP Sales Area Northern Europe and work closely with legal entities and shared functions such as Finance, HR and EHS.

Job responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors
  • Lead, develop and engage the Territory team, with focus on succession planning
  • Support deal closings and contribute to high-level negotiations
  • Manage financial performance, including budgets and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
  • Oversee customer service excellence and forecasting for equipment and aftermarket sales

Location and flexibility
The position is based in Sweden. Travel across the Territory - and occasionally to other countries - is a natural part of the role, up to approximately 50% annually.

Your profile
You bring a solid combination of industry knowledge, commercial insight and people leadership. With a background in mining, construction, or heavy engineering, you navigate complex, matrix-driven environments while keeping a clear focus on customers and results.

You also have:

  • Strong business development skills with a proven ability to deliver sales growth
  • Experience in people management and team leadership
  • Financial acumen and strategic planning capability
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • A university degree is considered an advantage

You’re a leader who builds trust through integrity and customer focus. With a collaborative mindset, you listen actively, communicate clearly, and inspire others to perform at their best. Structure comes naturally, yet you stay flexible and proactive when priorities shift.
